Julie Wojtylko is a life-long resident of Romulus and a graduate of Romulus High School. She has more than 25 years of experience working with City operations beginning in High School as a co-op student in the Human Resources Department and Mayor's Office, then moving on through the Building & Planning Departments and finally into Mayor's Office overseeing resident requests and daily operations. These experiences, in addition to extensive leadership and management training, have given her a strong foundation for the role of Chief of Staff.

Appointed directly by the Mayor, the Chief of Staff serves as the "integrator" for city operations by leading, managing and holding staff accountable under the direction of the Mayor and his vision. In this role, Mrs. Wojtylko also assists with requests that require greater coordination or may not be completed at the Department level.
