Report a Streetlight Problem/Outage

Help keep our community safe by reporting streetlight problems.  If you notice a street lighting outage, a light going on and off (cycling), a light on during the day, vandalism, damage or any other problem with street lights please contact the Department of Assessment at 734-942-7520 (please leave a voice message after hours) OR send an email (jalbert@romulusgov.com) to let us know.  Please provide the pole number (found on the metal tag), street name and nearest cross street, or the “in front of address” to help us locate the streetlight(s).  According to DTE Energy normal repair time is 3 to 10 working days depending on weather conditions and the severity of the repair.
