RUNNING FOR ELECTION TO CITY OFFICE

The City of Romulus will be holding its City General Election for the Office of Mayor, City Clerk, Treasurer, and City Council on November 2, 2021. If necessary, the City Primary Election will be held on August 3, 2021.

Qualified Romulus residents interested in running for election to City Office may visit the City Clerk’s Office to obtain the required petitions, Affidavit of Identity, and Statement of Candidacy.

In accordance with the Romulus City Charter, all petitions must contain at least 100 signatures, and no more than 200 signatures from registered Romulus voters.

ALL PETITIONS, AFFIDAVITS OF IDENTITY, & STATEMENTS OF CANDIDACY
MUST BE FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK’S OFFICE NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, APRIL 20, 2021 AT 4 PM.
