City Hall Reopens to the Public June 8, 2020

June 8, 2020 - Last week, Governor Whitmer lifted her stay-at-home order. As a result, Romulus City Hall will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, June 8. The Building & Public Works Departments will also be open at full capacity. While walk-in traffic is permitted, appointments are still highly encouraged to help us schedule for capacity guidelines and screening for visitors.

We are also pleased to announce that city parks will be open as of Monday, June 8, as well. This includes all playgrounds, dog parks and walking paths. Please note that bathrooms will still be closed and we encourage you to stay home if you are feeling sick, practice social distancing, avoid touching your face, and wash your hands after visiting the playgrounds. With summer around the corner, we are thankful residents have the opportunity to get outside and take full advantage of the nice weather by utilizing city parks and pathways.

Romulus Public Library, Romulus Senior Center and the Romulus Athletic Center remain closed at this time.
