Recycling is a curbside service that is performed by a commercial recycling company contracted by the City of Romulus. Recycling is picked up the same day as your regular rubbish removal pick-up day. Recyclable items such as glass, plastic containers, cans, and newspapers must be placed in a regular recycling container or similar container that is labeled "Recycling".
Hazardous Materials
Items such as antifreeze gasoline, medical waste, or other hazardous materials are not accepted for regular curbside recycling.
