Election & Voter Information
You may spoil your absentee ballot for the following reasons:
- Made an error on the ballot
- Lost or destroyed the ballot
- Did not receive the ballot you requested
- You desire to vote in person
If you would like to spoil your absentee ballot, please complete the Affidavit of Absent Voter and return it to the City Clerk’s Office with the ballot you are requesting to spoil.
OFFICIAL BALLOT RETURN ENVELOPE COLOR CHANGE
The Official Ballot Return Envelope color has changed from green to purple. This change was requested by the United States Postal Service because the green color closely resembles the color of certified mail.
Pre-paid postage is included on every purple & white ballot return envelope. You may return your ballot to the Romulus City Clerk’s Office by mail, in-person, or by one of our two convenient drop-box locations.
Remember, in order for your absentee ballot to be counted, all ballots must be received by the Clerk by 8:00 PM on TBD
Don't forget to sign your absentee ballot return envelope before dropping it in the mail, drop-box, or returning it to the Clerk's Office.
Your signature is required in order for your ballot to be counted
