American Progressive Association

Romulus Civic League

Also created in the 1940s, the Civic League has a goal to offer programs, activities and build community in the Junction Subarea. They host community and neighborhood watch meetings and the building is available for event rentals. Call 734-941-0947 for more information.

Friends of the Library

The Friends are members of the community who support the Library's goals and services. They advocate for the Library, raise community awareness about the Library, and provide funds to meet specific Library needs. Annual membership cost is $15.00 for an individual membership, or $25.00 for a family membership. Greater Romulus Chamber of Commerce

The Romulus Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of the business community. The Chamber provides various promotional and profit-making opportunities to assist in that endeavor. They are dedicated to the continued development of our community. There are annual fees for membership for individuals and businesses ranging from $75 up to $550. The Chamber holds luncheons every month with a variety of featured speakers and presentation topics.

Romulus Rotary Club

The oldest service organization in the City, the Romulus Rotary Club was chartered in 1939. The Club is in District 6400 of Rotary International. The Club has a goal of having one planning meeting and one service project each month. The Rotary Club is the organizer of the annual Parade of Lights and offers other services to the community including high school scholarships, sponsoring dictionaries to every third-grade student in Romulus, and park rehabilitation.

Romulus Historical Society

The Historical Society consists of five officers who shall be elected by the dues paying members in January of each year. Membership is open to the public. (No meeting in the month of December) For more information call 734-942-2340.
